At the Beach

We went to the beach today with some of the other Mom's from church. Jack LOVED IT!! I definitely think we have a water baby. Several times he was shivering and cold but would squirm away when I tried to keep him contained in a warm towel. As you can see from the glaring whiteness of my arms, this was our first beach trip of the summer, holy cow am I ever pale. How come one never looks so pale in the comfort and security of their own bathroom??
The crazy hairdo on Jack is due to lots of sunscreen in his hair, he refuses to wear a hat so I just lather the stuff right onto his scalp. It means he ends up having half the beach stuck to his head and needs a bath the minute we walk in the door, but better than skin cancer right?
