Why Mommy Can't Be on the Phone too Long

I find children do things to get your attention. Here, Jack has moved from thing to thing to thing, pulling more out, and dumping more things until it the situation has reached a critical mass and I am "forced" to get off the phone and pay attention to him. Fair enough, poor ignored child. Time to have some productive play. :) Out comes the dustbuster, Jack can vaccuum up all the spilled rice krispies. Which is fine, work, especially with power tools is more like play at this age.

Oh my goodness! I'm sorry I kept you on the phone so long. Your kitchen is so bright and sunny - I love it! Thanks for the chat. Talk to you next week.

Kar, you didn't "keep" me on the phone. Just illustrating the point that really a stay at home Mom really has no time that's all her own. :)

I love the pics, how true it is that there is no time for ourselves.
