At the breakfast table Jack and I had the following conversation.
Jack: What do you do after you are done being a grandma?
Mom: What do you mean? (I was wondering if this was some sort of trick question, I couldn't really fathom what he was getting at as we don't have any great grandmas left in our family so I didn't think he would understand that concept.)
Jack: I think then you become a hair cutter, a chef and a mail delivery person. And then AFTER when you are all done you go to live with Heavenly Father.
Mom: Oh, that sounds busy.
Jack: Yes. But I don't want to be a hair cutter, I'm only going to be a chef.
Mom: Okay
At this point Jack was beaming quite proudly that he's figured out the future for us all. Apparently Anne/Nan/Mommie Dearest and Grammie have a lot left to do before they are allowed to pass on!
