Yay, we have finally recieved the official news that Darrel won the competition with the City of Edmonton. That means we are definitely moving back to the land of dry heat, lots of church members and a temple, non-potholey roads, sane amounts of misquitos and low property taxes! Hurray!!!
Most of all Darrel is super excited about his new job with the City of Edmonton, his title is Quality Information Officer and will work for the Community Services Department. (His office is actually in a fire station, how cool is that) Jack and Baby B will get to go on fire truck tours whenever they go visit Dad at work, lucky boys!
Now the big push is on, sell our house, buy a house, book movers etc. They've given us a generous moving allowance package so that definitely helps....imagine that, movers coming and loading everything away, I like it!
Anyway, we are very excited but it seems a little bit surreal.
