What we've been up to

This layout may give you some ideas about what we've been up to -walks and outings and enjoying the weather. We had 2.5 weeks of super warm weather in late April, so spring seemed to come quickly here. Last weekend we drove an hour north and went to see the Narcisse snake dens, something we've wanted to do for a while. (80,000+ garder snakes hibernate in one of four dens within the park). Yup, a lot of snakes, this photo just gives you a glimpse, I'll have to post some of the others where you see many many more congregating.

This weekend we are painting -well, Darrel is painting, I am minding Jack. Only the master bedroom to go in the house. It's supposed to rain all weekend so the deck and the fence will have to wait. We are also going garage sale-ing tomorrow. Two of the wealthier middle class neighborhoods in Winnipeg are having their community garage sales tomorrow. I'm on the hunt for a Little Tykes slide and a sandbox. Some nice one child family may be looking to sell theirs. :)

Still dont' know about the job/move...argh. Trying to be patient since their is nothing I can do about it. Theoretically we were supposed to find out today or Monday, guess it might be Monday.

well it's definitely time for bed, 10:50...late for this pregnant lady with a one year old. (I contemplated going to see Mission Impossible III tonight but the showing wasn't until 9:40 and that would have put me in bed around 12:30...sheer craziness!!!) Posted by Picasa
