Growing Up

We've never been able to leave Jack alone in a room by himself for more than 5 minutes. He is just too curious, to busy and too into things. But I can see that starting to change. This week he has definitely been having fun amusing himself. On several occasions I have thought to myself, "yikes, I haven't seen Jack in the last 10 minutes", only to find him quietly playing cars in his room, or in this case immersing himself in a box of stuffed animals. It is a welcome change, albeit a little strange. I've had to resist the urge to tell him to come play in the living room, "where I can see you". I think it's good for him to learn to be independent, at least a little bit.

Wow, you have had a prolific blogging week- a by-product of Jacks independant play? Seriously, life is so much easier after they turn 2 1/2. Your photography is looking so professional. I admire how you have worked at it and how you have found something that you certainly have a talent for and brings so much joy to your life. Each time I think to myself "wow- your fantastic" you manage to better yourself.
PS
Nice job finding the playset- I know how expensive those are. What a score of a purchase!
