Mother's Day 2008

A quiet Mother's Day around here. Anne is visiting, it's always nice to have Mommie Dearest/Anne/Nan here.
She took this photo of Eric and I today, and I'm grateful for it. I had wanted to take a little family photo before church when the boys were dressed up nice but we of course were running late and it didn't happen and then the day just got away on us. I'm not in a lot of the photos around here, so it's nice to be documented as part of the family.

Here's some other photos from the last little while:

This is the boys on Friday, Nan had hung her blanket over the climber to make a tent and it was a lot of fun.

I think this picture was taken the last Friday I was at work. I like it because it is indicative of our life with boys. All gung ho and gusto, no halfway, we're a throw yourself off the couch without a second thought type of family.

Jack eating yogurt one morning. One of life's great ironies is that my child who loves dairy can't have it and my child who loves bread can't have it. Here, Mr. Jack is happily licking out the bowl of his soy yogurt, to which I say, go for it. At nearly $5 for 250mL I expect him to take in every last drop of it! (I'm kidding of course, well sort of.) I buy the soy yogurt for him so that I can give Eric regular yogurt. It breaks Jack's heart when Eric has some and he can't have any. sigh

Anywho, that's us the last few days. Tomorrow we are going to do some greenhouse browsing with Nan, hooray!

Happy Mother's Day weekend. It looks like there is lots of fun at the Andersons' house!
