Canadian Politics

On Tuesday I listened to an interview with Green Party leader, Elizabeth May, on CBC Radio's Q. She has a new book out and was on the show to promote it.

I was impressed with her in the last election, she proved herself to be articulate and not as many Canadians think, "an environmental wingnut". As I listened to her arguments for changing democracy in Canadian (well basically, the need to save democracy in Canada), I was again impressed by her intelligence and plain common sense.

Stephen Harper and his power antics have me super annoyed and I still haven't forgiven the Liberals for all the boondoggles, so next election I just may vote Green. I know that with our current electoral system I would in effect be throwing my vote away, especially considering I live in rural Alberta. But, you have to start somewhere right? Anyway, check it out, a very interesting interview.
