Darrel Rocks!

I have to toot Darrel's horn because he has spent much more of this month off doing projects than he originally planned to, and they have turned out really great due to his hard work. One of them was repainting the interior doors in the house. We inherited the original interior doors, the dark stained, scuffed ones from 1978. Darrel took them off, prepped and painted, painted all the casings, replaced the pieces that the previous owners cut off when they installed the baseboards incorrectly and rehung everything. (Note that in the after picture, the trim around the doors actually goes to the floor like it should and doesn't look totally stooopid.) On top of it he made that nifty acrylic plate to protect the back of the bathroom door from the handle on the bathroom closet.
Genius, I tell you. Honey, you are fantastic!
