I really really dislike houndstooth check. I sort of wonder if it's an association with something negative from my childhood -it's not a little dislike, it kinda makes me skin crawl and my eyes bug out. Strange, yes I know.
There ya go, a useless fact about me. Although, that should help narrow down gift giving choices. :)

I, too, really really dislike houndstooth. Which may confirm your suspicion that it was something from childhood, or at least from the late 70's/early 80's that makes you want to destroy it with scissors or punch someone when you see it (my reaction, not yours!).
I also have a problem with paisley. Not such a violent reaction, but I'm just not a fan. At all.
