Yesterday I was very excited when my belated mother's day gift arrived. I ordered a book on retouching and restoring photographs, and man is it ever helpful! Honestly, it is fantastic what you can do with photoshop or a photoshop knock-off like GIMP. This is a before and after of one of Judy's (Darrel's coworker) photos. I had done some work on it before, but the techniques in the book really helped me polish it up.
