One coat of paint is on in the entry way, only two, or three to go! After Darrel did the cutting in I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I'm really liking it now. I have this vision of what it will look like once we get the key rack, nice wood trim and shiny coat hooks, and the new clock we want to buy for the wall. It's crazy how much this little project has made me like our home that much more. A coat of paint (or two or three) really does do wonders for a room. (I realize this colour may be pretty dark for many people, but I AM LOVING the non-white, or some variation of white, it makes me happy to see colour in the house.)

Awesome! I cannot see any patch holes. ;) Isn't it fun to put color on your very own walls?
I love the color and for a front room I love it. Isn't fun to turn a house really into a home that you have laboured in to make it so. I just love hearing about others doing their own creating in their houses. Keep up the great work i want to see the finished results!!!!!
Hmmm... buy a clock? I am surprised... there is a LOT of creative tinkering one can do with an old clock mechanism and the ingenuity you and Darrel have plenty of!
Like the colour!
