We were the first stop on Alastair's trip out west this summer. It was neat having an older child to hang out with. Despite both Darrel and myself being miserably sick with a nasty cold and flu we had some fun times. Darrel and Alastair worked hard at customizing Alastair's make your own monopoly game. They made "Mario-Opoly" complete with property's such as Luigi's Light Bulb Company, Rosalina's flower shop, and Bowser's Castle. (which was Boardwalk). The money had Alastair's face photoshoped onto it and everything. It was pretty impressive.Darrel and Alastair left this morning for Calgary where Alastair will stay with his Aunt Francine and attend Math Mania camp at U of C for the next couple of weeks.
It will definitely be quieter with him gone, and we were all sad to see him go. It is a long time from summer to summer.

What a handsome boy. I'm glad you had fun together and it maybe gave you a glimpse into what it will be like to have "big boys" around the house in a few years!
