Darrel and I are enjoying our front flower bed this summer. Last fall we removed all of the gravel and in the spring Darrel extended it across the entire front yard. Anne helped us with tilling it up and then Darrel and I seeded it with wildflowers. We planted some petunias and alysum in the front so that it wouldn't be totally bare while the seeds grew. And now we've got an impressive mix of sunflowers, cosmos, poppies, asters, zulu prince somethings, and other wildflowers. It's kind of random, it definitely does not look orderly, but we like it.

Wow, your flowers look wonderful and the two of you look so happy! I'm impressed that such a big project yielded such amazing results in the garden and your marriage! :)
