The First 100

As noted on Darrel's blog, I bought myself a new camera yesterday. I have been salivating after this camera for a good six months now and yesterday was the day that it finally came home with me. Hooray!

These are some random shots from the first 100 pictures I've taken, all in the last 6 hours or so. I am working my way through a 12 weeks to better photography online course to help me figure out how to use it so many of these photos are experiments with aperture as that's the first lesson.

I'm having fun already! yay! (Sorry the labels are all over, blogger is being dumb, I think I'm going to have to migrate to WordPress.)

Flower Pots

Overcrowded Tonka Shrine

Pretty Lilies

Darrel chopping down the tree that shades the garden too much.

Jack crying because he wants to be close to (as in right next to) Darrel, even though he's wielding an ax. Sigh, it's tough being a little guy.

Raspberries in sight!

Congratulations!! As if you needed anything to make your scrapbooking look even better; your "test" photos as totally professional!
