Eric Turns Three

The little man's birthday was this week. It was fairly low key,our friends, Noah, Sammy and Hannah came for a sprinkle/water party. It was smokin' hot here so it was so much fun to splash outside. I ordered the cake, and I was pretty aghast when I picked it up. Eric really wanted a monkey cake, I was planning on making a Curious George cake, but was just too plain tired to do it. So a couple of days before I just gave myself permission to outsource this and phoned in the order. Well, that has to be the ugliest little monkey ever! It's almost scary. At least Darrel and I had a good laugh about it. Darrel was in charge of birthday presents (mostly -I did pick up something extra I saw) and the golf set and sand/water table were both a hit.

At three Eric is pretty delightful. He is quite mischevious and has a fun personality.
