Catching Up

We are safely back home. We had a great 9 days off visiting with family and friends. I have much to do and catch up on, but am slowly doing some scrapping and organizing of thoughts. I'm so grateful for the wonderful people in my life. My wonderful Mother in law, Anne, is so so good to me and the children. They just love her to pieces. As we pulled into our town on Saturday afternoon Eric said, "I want to go back to my grandma's!" and started to cry.

I had a fantastic visit in Lethbridge too with friends. Love these King girls, they are so dear.

Also the amazing Patrick family. I don't know what I would do without my friend Karly. She keeps me sane. I'm working on a scrapbook page, trying to pin down how I feel about that relationship. It's hard to sum up. As I told her, she is probably the one person who "knows my whole story." The person, aside from your spouse, who you tell your deepest darkest fears, and your greatest joys. She is simply the best.

For now I'm glad to be home, the wanderlust in my soul has been appeased somewhat. Now I'm getting a serious desire to get down to fall cleaning and purging. That's what this week will be all about. That and finishing outside trim painting and tomato canning.
