So Proud

Today was a busy morning, Julie had her first round of immunizations and then we had to go do some grocery shopping. Among the items we purchased was some tortellini for lunch. The boys behaved beautifully (which with a 4.5 and a 3 year old doesn't always happen) and on the drive home I complimented them on their good behavior.

Mom: "Boys I'm so proud of you, you had such good manners today and listened really well to Mommy. I'm so proud of you." (Really trying to accent the positive lately.)

A few minutes later Jack pipes up from the back seat:
"Mom, I'll be SOOO proud of you if you don't put tomato sauce on my tortellini." And after a pause, "and I'll give you a hug and a kiss too!"

Well, who can argue with that. Plain tortellini it is!

What a sweetie! Hope he liked his plain totellini. :) Good job on running errands and going to appointments with 3!
