Christmas Has Come and Gone

And now it's January, blech. January is the hardest month of the year for me, so cold, so not Christmasy, so long till spring. But I have decided to make it through this one by setting aside all guilt, doing what makes me happy and throwing more exercise into my life. I think my winter sedentary lifestyle also contributes. So that's the plan. In keeping with my goals I was playing with photos tonight, because of course, that can always make me happy. Had to do a layout of Julie with this photo, such a cute picture of the munchkin. Darrel has threatened to cut her bangs...I can't bring myself. They are so cute, but they do nearly hang in her eyes. But then again, that is what barrettes are for.

On our drive to Shaunavon from Calgary we saw some sun dogs. This was a first for me, so cool! Apparently they are made by ice crystals in the air. I told Darrel I thought they were a good omen for our trip and both he and Anne told me that they mean a storm is coming. But it turned out that no storm hit and the weather improved our our five day stay, so who knows. At any rate it was cool to see them. Of course, they looked much more vivied in real life.

Finally, this photo is just so cute. Love it and my people.

Adorable Julie layout - she and the doll are so cute! I'm glad you had a good Christmas and didn't hit any bad weather in your travels. We saw awesome sun dogs on the way home from Edmonton early in December and they are SO cool! Great picture!

Your daughter is adorable! I love your pictures. You are very talented. Happy New Year!
I understand your feelings about January. Now being on maternity leave and having 2 little ones, I will be spending more time at home. I HAVE to find ways to stay positive and sane!
Lots of love,
Christina

Exercise has been great for me lately, so I totally hear you.
