It's been a pretty good week around here. On Monday the boys had their good friends Noah and Sammy over to play and we made the gingerbread house.
Tuesday I had some running around to do in the city to get things ready for young womens. It has been bitterly cold this week so I decided to do a McDonalds lunch and hang out in the play place for a while to burn off some steam. We haven't done this in quite a while and it was fun to see how much Jack and Eric enjoyed it. When we got home and picked up the mail we found that my photography books that I had ordered with the gift card from Lara had arrived. Hooray!
Julie and I ventured out to the church Tuesday night and had a good time making these tiles with the laurel class.
The camera flash exaggerated how shiny the top coat is; with the naked eye you don't really see the modge podge shine.
The boys had pre-school this morning and I did some tidying up, photo taking of Julie, and scrapbooking. (I have a really hard time disciplining myself to do housework while the boys are gone at school. I kinda think of it as my play time -which is fine but sometimes I really do just have to get stuff done.)
Since Jack is going to school next year we tend to have a lot of conversations about being five and going to kindergarten. Today Eric said to me, "When I'm ten I'm going to KinderEGG!"
Tomorrow we are off to the dentist. And Friday I have an appointment to get travel vaccinations in anticipation of going to Mexico in February. A full week!

Slow it down, amazing lady! You are putting the rest of us to shame. :)
Your gingerbread house looks about a million times better than the haunted mansion we did for Halloween. Way to go, Andersons! And I love the temple tile. I will have to steal that idea for our girls.
I think KinderEgg would be waaaay more fun than Kindergarten. ;-)
