Atlantic Canada Charm
Darrel and I mused during our trip that purple, pink, orange, yellow, teal, blue, you name it, any colour seem to work on houses in Atlantic Canada. I think if I painted my house some of these colour schemes I would have my neighbours looking askance, and I would probably be a little embarrassed. Maybe it's the salt air, the style and size of the houses, or plain old tradition passed down, these bright colour schemes seem to work there. They sure are cheery. I think having a purple house could really make my long Alberta winter more bearable. So who's with me, let's paint the town red.

I'm in! You're right about being happy in a place with so much color and charm. Lunnenburg sounds beautiful, and I just love this layout!
