Our Trip to Nova Scotia

I really loved our trip to Nova Scotia. You know when you visit a place and you find quirky or different things that endear you to a place? Here's a few of mine in regards to Nova Scotia:
-Some people in Halifax commute to work wearing rubber boots. And nobody gives them a second look.
-Tons of trees, call me stupid but I imagine rugged rocks and ocean when I think of the Maritimes, I wasn't expecting all the forest. Silly, yes I know.
-Hills. I liked the up and down topography, makes life interesting.
-Brightly painted houses and doors. You can't get away with a purple house with aqua trim here in Alberta. And we are worse off for it. I can only imagine how much cheerier winter would seem if there were orange, teal, yellow, purple, blue, green, and red houses throughout my town.
-Seafood, yes seafood. I'm not normally a huge fan, but I tell ya, Halibut stuffed with crab and cream cheese is divine.
