I've been watching the two girls of a friend of mine from church after school on Tuesday and Thursday. It's been really good as they are in grade one and kindergarten and play well with my two little guys.
Last week they were over and the kids were crafting. The following is a conversation I had with little miss M.
"I can glue things but I'm not allowed to have scissors anymore, I'm grounded from them."
"Oh really, why did your Mom ground you from the scissors? There has to be a reason."
"Yeah, I cut the cat's hair."
"Oh yes, that would do it." (as I'm laughing out loud.) I really would have liked to have been a fly on the wall in that room, I'm gathering that Max the cat had feelings about having his hair cut.

I hope that doesn't give any little boys ideas that scissors can be used on hair! :) So cute!
