I've been thinking about friends a lot lately. Probably because I am missing all of you! I find it is definitely harder to make good friends at this stage of life than earlier ones. In university I met so many people and it came naturally. Now there are all these complications -do our spouses/partners etc. get along, are our kids the same age that we can hang out in the day time and all have fun together, are they sane (that's for you Karly!), are they cool with kids being tagged along on every outing, etc. etc. At any rate as I've been thinking about friends I've been pondering what I've learned from the friends I have. Again, this is not an exhaustive list, you've all taught me more than one thing, but these are just some of the things that came to mind on this particular day. I hope I save the resolution all right so that you can read it once you click on the image to view it larger.
Thanks for being great friends!

That is so sweet of you to add me on/ mention me on your layout. You are so wonderful in so many ways but as this past post shows you are great at seeing and bringing out the best in others. It was such a joy to look at pictures of friends that I haven't kept in touch with but touched my life as well- Jessica, Marty, Shannon. I hope you send this post to all the these rockin women you mentioned. They all are looking fantastic.
If Jess is reading this- girl you look radiant! Marty I noticed you went to Europe- I could always imagine you there, I would love to hear you describe it. Shannon- I send my love to your family- I totally respect you!
Sorry to use this to send my hello's but also- Hi Rhonda and and Tami. I just realized Kirst- that all these women I mentioned all live in Alberta. This coming year with you settling in a new home, Eric and Jack growing bigger will be fantastic- so many true friends you have in that province and can look forward to seeing!
Thanks Kirsten! What an awesome idea! You are so creative! I miss you!
