This past weekend we went to Lethbridge, I was visiting my good friend Karly, with Eric in tow; Darrel went to visit his friend Grant, with Jack as his partner in crime. Darrel ended up not feeling well so plans went somewhat awry but we had a good time anyway. My heartfelt thanks go out to Karly and her family for letting us come visit! It was a wonderful recharge for a tired Mom's batteries. I have also been motivated to keep my house in better order, I would have to say that order, organization and effectiveness are some of Karly's greatest talents, (on top of being a great listener and super hostess!), she seems to have everything together. I think if I were more organized like she is I would feel more in control and less like my world is falling apart on a daily (or hourly) basis.

I am so happy you came and I glad that you feel recharged. As for me being super organized, it often makes me more crazy than satisfied and I am trying, like you, to spend more time engaging with my children and less time wiping the counter and making beds. (Although when my house is all nice and clean and everything is in its place, I do feel a heavenly peace!)
The organization thing is such a struggle isn't it. Karly is awesome for figuring it out. I agree with her when she says the house feels heavenly when it is. I feel like I play better with Tomo when it is and am a happier wife. Well I guess that is my signal to clean. Ciao!

Ha, funny, I thought this was the ugliest picture of ME ever, and you were quite cute. Man, I'm about 2 weeks overdue for a haircut, it's sooo bushy! After seeing this photo I phoned and made an appointment for Thursday.
