The boys are really starting to interact with eachother, it's so fun to watch! In the first picture Jack was walking around the exersaucer and Eric would spin to look at him, which cracked Jack up, and then of course made Eric smile and do his happy shreek. Man I love these kids. Karly is right, two is more fun!
Tonight was my first evening of Young Women's activities. They meet Tuesday nights 7 - 8:30. We did pilates. Mercy am I ever out of shape! I think I'm going to hurt tomorrow. I have a post-pregnancy pilates video that I've done a total of twice since Eric was born, this evenings patheticness has inspired me(or rather shamed me)to use it on a regular basis. It sounds like Darrel and Jack had tons of fun while I was gone, (Eric came with Mom), so Tuesday nights may just well be family fun night for the next few years. In other news, the pile of snow outside our house is massive. Darrel purchased a bigger and better snowblower on Ebay yesterday as our first one just isn't cutting it. It can't throw the snow onto the snow pile anymore because we have soooo much. The new snow blower is from a small engine repair fellow in Innisfail so he will have to make a trek down there on Friday to pick it up. It's probably 3 hours from Bon Accord so it will be a 7 hour excursion. (Hmmmm -when I found out that Darrel had every second Friday off with his new job I had sugar plum visions of me taking mini spa vacations and such, (rest for a weary mom and that sort of thing) Yeah, that hasn't really happened yet as we keep having projects such as driving three hours to get a snowblower or spending a whole day taking out cabinets. Not that I'm complaining, I've benefited from all of Darrel's hard work but we'll have to keep "livin' the life of luxury" days in mind too, right honey? wink wink)
I made an appointment to get my haircut here in town on Saturday. It's only $22 for a cut and style. Which is way cheap compared to my expensive city hairdresser (whom I adore but can't bring myself to drive 45 minutes to an hour, one way, to see). This girl had atrocious phone manners but I keep telling myself that she doesn't need to be polite on the phone, just good at wielding scissors. It would be so darn convenient to have a hairdresser 6 blocks away. Just because she's really abrupt on the phone, that doesn't mean she'll be that way in person, right? Let's hope.
Well babies and husband are asleep, guess I should be too.
Over and out. (I always wanted a trucker radio as a kid -strange.)

The picture of the boys in the recliner is so darling! Two kids really are more fun. I am happy that your first Tuesday night at YW went well. And I like the idea of Jack having Daddy for an evening - very fun.
Ten-four, good buddy!
