Bathroom Progress

Slowly but surely we are making progress on the bathroom reno. On Saturday we moved the frame of the new cabinet into the bathroom. Darrel put the legs on and cut the whole in the back so that we could get the plumbing in. In the afternoon we started tiling. Darrel and I have a pretty good system. I tile, he cuts. It's awesome, he likes to cut and basically we can keep up with eachother. These are 10x13 inch tiles, so they go up really fast and it's easy to keep them straight. (Hallelujah!) These are going to wrap the shower area and then continue on the wall behind the toilet. We have a few weeks left, at least, but I am starting to really look forward to baths in that deep tub!

I have to thank my Dad for teaching me skills, (and giving me the confidence that I can do work/projects like this). I learned a lot the time that I spent working for him. The value of hard work (which encouraged me to get an education because I hated working outside!), doing something well, taking your time, being patient, having fun while working etc etc.
Thanks Dad for the lessons!

Excellent. I was going to ask how the bathroom was progressing, but didn't want to put the Squirrel Jinx on you if it wasn't progressing well. (no point slowing it down further)
