Our challenge today: to embrace imperfection for the sake of creativity and to purposely have a mistake on our layout. I don't know if there's a mistake on here or not -although there probably is, I usually have one or two spelling/grammar mistakes. My whole layout is really on the theme of embracing imperfection in the effort to create so I thought that got me off the hook. :)
I have heard that Amish women do this when they make a quilt -they purposely make a mistake in it so that they are showing God their humility and demonstrating only He can make a perfect thing. Interesting thought. I do know that when I give up on my grand illusions of perfection life is happier. For me and those around me. So there you go -permission to let it all go and just enjoy the ride.
