I love fall but I also hate it. I dread winter here. Obviously it can get cold in Edmonton, but for me it's really the lack of sunlight. So I love that the photos I took on this particular day show that warm, glowy autumn light. The kind of light that makes everything feel warm even if the days are getting crisper. It's good for me to look at these pictures and remember that day and the warmth of the sun.

I had forgotten that it was our anniversary that day too until I looked at the date on the photos. Darrel had to go to Grande Prairie for work so the kids and I were on our own and he got home late late. I was happy though, driving on a sunshine-y day, anticipating a fun photo shoot, and knowing we would celebrate another day.
