The last wee of load. I'm sad, but kind of relieved. This has been a lot of work! I need a bit of a break from making a layout EVERY day. But I think I have gotten a lot better at making layouts quickly. I can have a simple idea for a layout, or a small piece of inspiration and run with it.
This layout is to complement the one I did of Jack on day 7. This photo seriously cracks me up. As I said in my journaling, Mr. Eric makes this face multiple times a day, and it can mean a variety of things. He is our little song and dance man, always performing -and half the time this face shows up you know that there's going to be something hysterical that comes next.
Tonight the funniest conversation happened at the supper table. Eric was invited to a bowling birthday party and since our two little guys are so close in age they often go to birthday parties together. Jack automatically said, "Yay, I'll get to go bowling too!" I had to gently explain that he wasn't invited. He was very upset, and dear little Eric, in a very sincere and sweet way said, "Don't worry Jack, I'll tell you how fun it was." Talk about hysterical! Seriously I had to really try hard not to laugh out loud. Eric was so well meaning about letting Jack vicariously have some of the bowling fun. What was super cute about it too was that this seemed to cheer Jack up somewhat. What good boys!
